Not arguing, I have always respected your commentary here on this thread. Its always been straightforward and without fluff. I just believe that most companies, despite the Y2k issue, typically take the path of least resistance. I should probably qualify these statements with what I personally experienced being employed by Lotus. I'll grant you that Lotus is a whole other league, however, the retention statistics are compelling across the entire industry. Where Lotus was installed -- it stayed. Where Lotus was not installed -- it had to fight tooth and nail to replace some of the weakest set of installed solutions (despite its name recognition.)

I have also witnessed this reality with friends/clients who own some decent-sized companies. It is just one of those things...

I will admit ALTS is probably on its last leg with many of its current accounts, however, ALTS has a huge opportunity (under new management with a little cash) to quickly redeem itself with EB.
