Sure, I'll answer your question. The SEC holds the tipper (SP) and tippee equally responsible. And if you repeat inside info, even if you do not profit by trading, the SEC will hold you responsible if people you told do. But as a shareholder I'm concerned. If the licensing deal is what was posted on Yahoo then why isn't it made public through official channels. Doesn't that bother you? Don't you think its wrong that someone can post, before the company announces, the terms of a deal. Of course this is moot if the post is wrong, and that's on odds on bet. I know that some people always know more than others. The lawyers, the accountants, the printers. It is Bymasters and Olivers place to know more. But to leak it to people who post it on a chat line is no different than Lon Stone leaking info on what his greatest expectations are. And then that inaccurate story gets embellished and posted. And then, when the events never come to pass you get a truckload of pissed off investors who dump the stock every time it pops up. I hoped we were past that stage of unprofessionalism. And until we are past that point day traders shouldn't be blamed for the stock not moving. Its ordinary people who, having been misled, have no sense of vision, no belief, only a sense of betrayal. They buy on the tout, sell whenever they can. With 75,000,000 I & O there are alot of them. I don't want to argue w/u. We are definately on the same side. Your first post struck several sore points w/me, that's not your fault, and I think you took my response personally. And the post that I am responding to here raises several interesting points. Lets address the latter first. I've commented before on the Constitutions prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment. In this wonderful country convicted mass murderers are treated better than cancer victims. Your first post made this point, even though you blamed it on TCLN lack of money. I just wanted to correct that. Its the FDA. Think about this--someone who, maybe, never in their life did anything wrong. They get glioma. After being subjected to the radiation/surgery/chemo thing (in view of TNT this might be likened to cruel and unusual punishment) gets into a Phase 1 trial. And its effective. But all they get is 4-6 months extra. They, and we, know there is something more, something that might save their lives. But the FDA says no, no more treatments. Go home and die!! Isn't that cruel and unusual punishment? ISN'T THAT WRONG? ISN'T THAT WRONG??!! I don't give a .... about whether the stock goes up or down $.03 and who is causing it. What I want to know is why isn't everyone up in arms?, where is our sense of right and wrong?, our sense of compassion? WE give a terminally ill patient one treatment that shrinks a tumor and prolongs a life, and then refuse another treatment because....something might kill them before the cancer does? Maybe now you understand why I responded as I did to your first post. It had nothing to do with you, or caffeine. This had been a crusade for me, for over 15 years. Its about bureaucrat mentality at the FDA. Now to your other (very) interesting point. If someone posts inside info-and I have no doubt that details of an undisclosed agreement between two companies is inside info-on the internet and someone buys the stock based on that post I don't believe we would be acting on "inside info" but the person who posted it...posted inside info, and that should be investigated. And if that info isn't true anyone who bought the stock based on that post will dump that stock, it will further the image of unprofessionalism that this company already has to overcome. And that hurts me and you, and all the other shareholders. That's why I'm concerned! Don't you see that? Rather than us fight about what constitutes inside info ask yourself what are your values? If this post on Yahoo proves to be accurate and that poster profited on that info, possibly at your expense, what would be your attitude? And if this info is right, how many other people who had access to it, bought the stock at 15/16 and will sell at 1 1/16. While the poor suckers who are long term investors-you and me-rant about "day traders" and "market manipulators." I don't appreciate, or deserve your sarcasm. I'm not the arbiter of what is or isn't inside info. To try to change the focus of this group about what is or isn't inside info is to aid the enemy (and posters of false rumors and inside info are part of the enemy). I am entitled to by opinions and beliefs, as you are yours. I haven't attacked you, and I won't. There is a meaningful battle to fight, and that battle if for TCLN, and the patients, and that battle is with the FDA. LETS GET THESE PRODUCTS TO THE MARKET FOR COMPASSIONATE TREATMENT OF THE TERMINALLY ILL!!
