Fred, I had few "flings" with VLNC few years back, but had it off my radar once they got into their leaks problems. Since then the situation might have changed, but I am still on the sidelines here, and the breach of the 8,75 to 9 here might be worry some. If it repairs it before the close, it might be nothing, if not, maybe something is "rotten" in the kingdom after all. Just my opinion.

Noooo, I believe he meant 'technical breakdown' to be negative.

However, notice that the decrease in price is not occurring on any measurable volume. Rather, with no large buyers stepping into the void to support the price, it can be taken down. Pretty far, perhaps into the 7's. If some investors were premature in establishing margin positions, they may get spooked into selling here.

I would speculate that if there are big buyers interested, the game could be played by MMs on their behalf, to try to knock some people out of their margin positions, or otherwise scare small shareholders who have no information regarding contract potential into selling, and thus freeing up the shares needed for the big buyers to get the positions they want. There are not a heck of a lot of shares available, and sellers have been staying on the sidelines for the most part. So without some machinations, or short selling, there would be little reason for the price to drop.

Let's hope we can withstand the firestorm until good news arrives.

Best of luck to all.
