As fair-minded as it is to set up the conference call so that anyone interested could ask questions (as well as make comments), I'd like to suggest a possible change in scenario for the next conference call.

I have "participated" in other conf calls where a select handful could ask questions, and it worked well. No disruptions as in this one. No idiot traders conducting business on an open line could be heard. No morons putting the call on hold so that the speaker had to talk over music-on-hold.

I would be more than happy to call in and simply listen, forwarding my questions to a predetermined few either before the call or emailing during the call.

I also think Mr. Murphy did well to tolerate the disruptions as well as the initial problems caused by AT&T, and will look for notes from anyone who could actually hear, or whose connection was not terminated early by AT&T as mine was. I will also look at FAQ on DCI's website as Mr. Murphy was able to say over the most rude, I believe NOT a crossed line, and deliberate disruptor.

Just a thought. Any comments?

Grupo,

I was on for the whole time and was impressed by not only what was said but by Joe's candid style.

I do not believe that the disruption at the end was anything more than a guy whose line was crossed by our conference call. Just my opinion.

The logistics of the call were very muddy at best but Joe hung in and was very informative.
