Mike, I agree that shareholders will have to pay for any judgement and that lawyers will get a portion of that payment. I agree that as a shareholder I stand to lose some value if a suit is brought against my company (which will happen) and if the company loses it will cost the then shareholders even more, BUT and this is key, if the company (companies) custodians are at fault then I feel those dollars paid back to the shareholders will force the company to really consider whether those custodians should be in charge, and if they should, I would hope they would see their bonus's and compensation adjusted to ensure their behavior is not allowed to remain unchallenged.

The suit must be against the companies and not the individuals.

PS They probably have insurance and its the insurance companies who will end up taking the hit.

Believe me, I know where the money comes from both for the lawyers and any judgement, not a question here.

BUT, if they lose (MIFGY/ISLI/MGMT) because of wrong doing the pitance or so that it will cost them and the shareholders could be very easily be made back in the stock price once the become credible and honest.

I've been through this (as a share holder) before: The company and its mgmnt who loses or at least was challenged-on-honesty, thereafter makes the extra effort of cleaness with the analysts and shareholders. This in itself will aid and abet a company with good products and growing business.

Without a challenge here & now (and I believe an illegality) the new combined MIFGY will have a longerrr road to recovery. This challenge (and I believe ..) might cause a short term monetary loss but also might result in a much larger gain in a shorter timeframe.

BTW, I sorry you are not on my level !

Michael
