I was reading another thread and ran into this. Since we are having a slow day, I'll throw this out for comments. "The Peach", who wrote this, is a poster on raging bull.

Hey ICEMAN, I just realized looking at the succession of posts that it looked like I might have been saying, "hey the FTET New's Releases suggested a Global might be doing their software so I called the company and this is what they said..."

When in reality, what actually happened was that after the freerealtime.com post about FTET and GLOW supposedly coming to some BIG agreement that would come out early this week, we saw a blip of discussion on some of the boards about the matter but we couldn't flesh it out with any indication of anything other than pure speculation (and norm's assessment that the poster wasn't some crazy).

So I went to their site back then, saw the other Global Casinos and Global Internet Corp.and thought "ok it was probably a misunderstanding." But there was never any follow up from anyone else or new evidence or new rumors or changes in the stock trading (except possibly the runnup from 0.18 to 0.25 on Friday which simply looked to me as people buying so they didn't get caugh empty handed if GLOW came through with news over the weekend or Monday).

So I filled out a more information form on the company's page as I am looking into it just to get a better understanding of the company and how they fit in the industry. Along the way I might even decide to buy some if I like what I see (which allowed me to get into GGNC in a very small position a week or two before it took off...I stumbled across some of the possibilities of the company versus their trading price and I picked up some shares deciding that I would watch it and possibly add to my positions gradually. Of course I had no way of knowing it would go to $6 and blow that whole plan!!! :-(

And the person whose name appears on the FTET News Release called me back (it had the name address and phone section to get more info so I thought they would mail or email it but I filled out the phone number because I don't care if they call. If they tried to solicit me I'd had told them to bug off).

But instead they were responding to the comment I had put in the "if you have any questions or comments section". If you go to the web page you will see that in the Stock Info section you will see the form that comes up when you click on it.

I asked if there was any way they could clarify a confusion I had run into on the message boards where there had been a report that Global Games (GLOW) would be licensing their software to FTET, but the FTET News Releases said it was Sportsnet, and then there were older news releases indicating some other Global be providing the software.

So he called and left a message, and then I called back and ask to speak with him, and the receptionist put my call through. He was helpful, polite, and very forthcoming. I said, "oh hi, I was just trying to clarify...blah blah blah and reiterated in words what I had put in the comments section."

And he said "no that story you have heard is true, Global Entertainment Games and FTET are going to be producing a new site in which Global will license their software and provide all the support and we will run the site."

So I replied, "oh so it is not Global Games, it is another Global" and he said "no I'm sorry you had it correct before" and I said "Global Games Corporation" and he said "yes".

He then proceeded to explain FTET's plan to put together a series of sites (sounded like 3) with different companies licensing their software and providing support for different sites. he explained how Sportsnet was a different aspect altogether and that they were working with Sun Microsystems right now to complete parts of the work that would need to be done for this site.

And so my inclusion of the press release link was because I was told that they would be announcing all the specifics of this probably this week and that specifics of some of the components of FTET's internet gaming sites as a whole this week or next applying to and including Global. And he said to check out their website as they would place the release their.

Now for a formerly listed NASDAQ stock, I will be very disappointed if the gentleman misspoke to the point where he didn't realize that there are different companies if you change the name slightly. That would suggest a lack of familiarity with the names of the companies involved in the industry they are entering. That is possible.

So that is how this all orginated and why I was willing to sign the modest level of possibility that I have. It was because of my efforts to clarify which Global with the FTET representative that I was told "the Global Games you heard will be licensing to software to us is the Global Games that is actually providing it."

And so many of us have hashed this out, and are accutely skeptical that I misunderstood, or the FTET representative misspoke or misunderstood.

But of course, if he knew exactly what he was saying and had it right, then it is a very big development. Until I hear more I'll assume it's not true (as I try to apply to any unconfirmed potential for GLOW) but boy will I be hoping in my heart that it is true!
