No But I noticed Microsoft doing it!
They just put out a press release today. dailynews.yahoo.com.
Wouldn't you expect Microsoft to already be Y2K compliant. Don't take these things for granted. Another thing if DGIV wasn't compliant they could be sued. So I think it was a very smart business move to put out this News.

You know you guys are really reaching out.

I am sure this is only the start of information coming out from the Company. Yes if they weren't compliant they would be out of business, but they are compliant so guess what try again.
Oh did the Company burst your bubble. Was that the next remark you guys were going to try and use.

June, I am not saying that this was the press release I was waiting for. That will come soon, but it does show that DGIV is focused on making their business model work into the next millenium. To say that IBM doesn't advertise that they are working on Y2K issues is ludicrous. I know that HWP is spending a fortune on compliance and so is everyone else in the industry. The fact that DGIV has already addressed this issue tells me they want to be around for a while. I still await contract news, but this was a nice appetizer.

>>what is the need to tell the world about it? Didnt notice IBM doing so<<

Perhaps you should check their website... www.ibm.com.

You will find that IBM, like all other major companies, is in the midst of a vast Y2K enhancement effort. You will find numerous news releases to that effect from the myriad of companies that make up the IBM collective. You will also find that IBM is in the forefront of the companies providing Y2K compliance services to aid companies in this endeavor.

What is the need to tell the world??? If you can't figure that out, you really shouldn't be here, dearie.

Didnt notice IBM doing so

when's the last time you looked at an IBM 10K? when's the last time you visited the IBM or Micorosoft or SUN websites? the sec considers it significant enough to mandate a reporting requirement on Y2K readiness. so what you're saying is that probably the most significant threat to business survival at least in this decade isn't worth a mention? i think the real truth is clear. dgiv could have announced signed contracts, reporting status and nasdaq listing and you and your buds would have still found a flaw in it someplace. sorry, i look at life differently. enjoy.
