Good ole THQ comes through again!! I listened to the call and I am adjusting my secret price upward a tad or two, or three (g) -Rushware has direct distribution in Germany and German speaking EU, which is 3rd largest market in world behind US and Japan. -Rushware has been LucasArts German Dist. for last 10 years and the most recent exclusive German agreement takes us through mid 2000. It includes non exclusive in BenoLux countries. -Rushware also distributes for other EU based developers. They localize with Softgold and dist. through Rushware. -Acquistion very good for THQ because THQ now has distributor in 3rd largest market that ALSO comes with content . -THQ will publish and dist. Rushware/softgold titles in US and rest of world. At least 3 PC and 1 PS that will be announced shortly for launch in 1999. -The acquisition WILL BE ACCREATIVE!! maybe 5% or so in 1999. -The deal is an important cornerstone because it addresses THQ's goal of achieving 40% INTL revs. within 2 years. This deal should bump up INTL to maybe 25-30% for 1999 THQ revs. -Rushware will of course dist. THQ titles. -Shipped all planned 4th qtr titles. Revenge still top of the charts, extremely pleased with Rugrats and have had a reorder since the pipeline fill. Rugrats will launch in EU 1st qtr. 1999. -Farrell comment at end of prepared comments "We believe the company is very STRONGLY positioned for what we believe we think will be a very positive business environment in 1999.
