Jewel, that was my read. Not only do we benefit from eliminating at least one of the middlemen (TimeWorldcom as well?), we also gain access to the switch and licenses. Not too shabby for a last-minute glitch. ggg.

Juli, I don't recall if we were ever looking at making any deals with Discount originally to get access to IXC's infrastructure. The way I am looking at taking control of Discounts assets is that we basically got those for "free" because we helped ICX out via structuring the deal whereby ICX could get some favorable tax treatment on the Discount loss.
