Anvil seems to be learning that more information is better than less in their news releases and we are very happy to see they are sharing more relevant information with their share holders.
A couple of early observations by us to add a bit more froth to the expectations. We feel they are being conservative with their estimate of the upside potential of this one well gas flow.Their estimate was based on the flow while the third zone was still clogged with frac material and through a 1/4" choke. After talking to some other sources familiar with these Texas plays we feel that the flow rate of at least 6mcft and probably higher may be possible .
Their estimate of 10 to 30 more wells leaves a huge difference in the potential of this field and certainly indicates there could be a great increase inn the recoverable gas flows from this field. We are not sure if they are talking about 10 to 30 target wells or are including the off-set wells in their calculations.Perhaps that could be clarified,
HHappy in his correspondence with Vastar was told by Vastar that they felt their pipeline could handle all the volumes of gas that Anvil may find on the properties that ARCO holds a royalty interest. But Vastar says there are other properties that Cordele and Anvil hold drilling rights which ARCO does not have an interest.Very interesting!!
So far Anvil hasn't revealed any such info. If true, it does add further interest to Anvil's potential.
Let's hope they can develop their holdings a lot faster than this first well[it would be hard to imagine it would take longer.]The extra depth will add some time and expense but could also add significant additions to the gas reserves to be found.
And remember there is still the oil to be developed once oil prices increase in value.
We still say, hang on for the big gains.Anyone who thinks they can time their buying and selling are playing a game which may leave them at the gate when lift off occurs.Good luck to all.
We await developments as they will occur over the coming months.
