Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) advanced $2 3/8 to $190 7/8 after it said it will launch a new service with links marked "Shop the Web" that will allow customers to search for products the "Books, Music and More" store doesn't carry using technology the company acquired along with its purchase of Junglee Corp. in August, The New York Times reported. Participating retailers online, which include Gap (NYSE: GPS), L.L. Bean, F.A.O. Schwarz, and high-end Internet toy store Brainplay.com, will pay Amazon for sending customers their way.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Will Bid.com outbid other auctioneers to gain a spot on Amazon's web site?

Regards,

Tom

If Godin really went to Seattle, he may have been visiting Amazon. But what if he was just flying into Seattle on his way to Redmond.... home of an interesting computer company called MICROSOFT!!. Just a thought.
