Why would we not move anticipating a move and also we get an upgrade from Cowen and nothing. This was a very disappointing day for NN longs.

Glen, do I sense there may be a connection with Newbridge in this regard?

On News World business news tonight the host said "Lucent has stated that it will make a move into the Canadian market to go head to head with Nortel Networks" Lucent said it will make an announcement tomorrow.

Nortel this year just added Networks to its name and Newbridge has always had it. Newbridge was way ahead of Nortel in predicting what the telecoms will demand in the future. The only way for Lucent to move quickly into Canada to take on Nortel is with partnering with Newbridge since I don't think Siemens would be too happy if they went for a buyout. T.M always goes for partnering like it has with Siemens. Siemens has a power base in Europe and Asian. Lucent has a US power base. This makes sense to me. The US/CDN exchange rate is favorable to Lucent.

Average recommendation just went down .1 from 2.1 to 2.0

The brokers are warming up to Newbridge so something good is going to happen to them.

This is JMHO.
