Forget MTIC, Stitch. I used to own that one. Momentum money drove that one up and momentum money drove that one down. There but for the grace of God and a disciplined stop loss went I and what remained of my profits earlier this year. Then MTIC management managed to put both feet in its mouth at the same time while fumbling through some bad quarters during the off season. MTIC does have money coming in from EMC which is paying $40 mil in over time to buy some MTIC patents. A better play would be CMNT, though, which I added to my portfolio today (sold most of my ADIC and VRTS). It was mentioned in a rather effusive article about EMC in Smart Money. No debt. Networking gear. Fortune 100 clientele. Great inside buy patterns. The two most influential players in enterprise storage -- IBM and EMC -- have validated its technology. Today it added Sutmyn, a joint venture between Fujitsu and its largest distributor. Do let me know if you come across companies like CMNT that have a good chance of piggybacking on the success of the likes of EMC and IBM. I'm particularly partial to the EMC keiretsu myself.<g>
