Maybe I am mistaken - but I was sure that you were the same clown who was posting totally false and useless information about the specialist manipulating SEG stock last year. If I was wrong my apology - I made two extensive posts about how specialists operate on this thread that you can access - my knowledge comes from relatives who are specialists and spending hours learning about their strategies. There is no conspiracy - remember they use their own capital in entering positions and because they are required to make an orderly market in the shares they cover they are forced to buy shares when no one is buying or sell shares when no one is selling. They make more money on volatile days when a stock moves up and down in a narrow band. The clown that posted here last year was laying into the specialist for days when the stock exhibited unusual volatility. Remember that when a stock move in a single direction in a large intraday move they normally get run over and lose money - Alot of it at times. They have even more restrictive trading restricitions to ensure that they do not create artificial buying/selling pressure on a stock that they have a position in. long seg
