Monsanto completes DeKalb acquisition Monday December 7, 3:48 pm Eastern Time ST. LOUIS, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Life sciences firm Monsanto Co. said Monday it completed its $2.3 billion acquisition of DeKalb Genetics Corp., the nation's second largest seed company. In connection with the acquisition, DeKalb terminated the registration of its shares with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. Shares of Monsanto were up 3/16 at 43-3/16.
