Hello Lou As I stated, I am only sharing my opinion (which is allowed, I hope). The numbers mentioned ($100 million and $1 Billion) are significant and all I'm saying is that it's strange Wall Street hasn't recognized it yet. As for your opening salvo, yes, the Russell 2000 and small caps are underperforming but where do you get the notion these companies are not followed?? It is the business of Wall St analysts to find, analyze and publicize public companies. Last I looked, there were 30 stocks in the DOW. Makes for a small universe. H&Q is one firm that follows nothing but "small caps'. Check the facts.
