CNC, SONC and general comment: - Rick, CNC (Conseco, 34 11/16 close) looks great. stock has short term triple bottome at 32, which is also the 50 dma line. if it can get above the 38 level of early november, think stock will be off and running. SONC - Sonic restaurants - chart isn't nearly as exciting, rsi and stochastics are both at the high end. what brought it to your attention (other than the drive-in waitresses??) ggg. Ron, thank you for the comment on postings. We each have our style, but I must admit that i have been frustrated for a long time by people posting XYZM is gonna take-off, without a smidgen of ta,fa, or even minimal description of the company. I have been happy to post my ideas on stocks, giving TA and FA. I enjoy contributing to the thread and it also focuses me to have to write down my thoughts on different stocks. would really appreciate others sharing some of their knowledge of their stock ideas. thanks. larry

CNC, SONC. Hi Darth. Welcome back...I'm glad that you got your computer problems fixed. CNC looks good, closing above its middle daily bollinger band yesterday and testing it at the low today. The upper daily bollinger band is at about 35 1/2 so I'd expect some resistance there. SONC has resistance between 21 1/2 and 22 so I think it's kind of risky to buy it now. Obviously it could break out, but the downside risk is to the base at 19 1/4 if it doesn't.
