Brother Thomas, a pleasure indeed

I can assure you nothing new has happened on the gold sites in your absence. The same old debate by the same people!! $300 POG still seems as far away as ever although some believe it is within their grasp. Others see $200.

Placer didn't spend too much, I can assure you. W.Areas is probably the richest unmined SAF gold property. Both parties got what they wanted --- they bought a lot of gold for peanuts and the Kebble Boys got big bucks outside SAf. Next year you'll find them in their luxury yachts on the Med!

$380 sounds nice. I wouldn't argue. But, I'd even be happy with $350!!

South Africa could best be described by the acronyms FUBAR or SNAFU. So, I guess, we are all as well as we could be, down here. Re Tiger Woods, I'm surprised that the ANC didn't pass a law to prevent Nick Price from beating him. After all, to beat a black is pure racism and the ANC doesn't like that!

Aurum vobiscum (although platinum looks better!)

Bro Searle
