The problem is that QP2's real Metastock files output will not get daily correction. Last time (about 2-3 months ago) I checked about data cleanness, I found about 30-40 incorrect quotes when I went through S&P 500. They all got corrected next 1-2 day. They may have improved now, but I don't know. I'm using another data vendor as my primary source and keep QP2 for scanning. I've a program that can delete existing Metastock data files and keep the smart charts. Then use QP2 update function to transfer complete data (from day 1 including any corrections) into existing metastock directories. All the trendlines, memo text and line studies will be preserved. I'm glad to share the program if anyone needs it. Clark

Well Thomas, what should i say? I think you understood right and i don't know how you do it? I also use QP2,smartcharts and used real metastock files before and now virtual files which doesn't make any difference for me. Like i said: i draw linestudies in different charts of a list and want to look at them with the same template and i can only see the line studies in the first stock i open. Then i flip to the next and get a virgin chart with just the indicators but no linestudies. I have to open it from the Openfolder by choosing the next symbol. This takes much longer to load and is a pain...I wish i knew how to change my setting to achieve what comes naturally to you. Yes, i use MSWIN 6.5....and i'm scratching my head. Stefan
