Only have a second, but wanter to respond. First Etrade would not be spending the $ without the Softbank investment - because they would not have it. Softbank injected a cool $400 million, that will run out at some point. I agree they are pissing it away elsewhere as well. Second, the Japanese style of interlocking ownership has landed them in a major crisis. 10 years of stock deflation. Actual deflation. Bank bankruptcy. Are you familiar with their overall bubble. Ponzi scheme driven by cross ownership, in part. Agree with you point on sex and the net. However, it is a part of the revenue. Sweetpete led me to this analysis. Gotta go.
