re: kerosene - One of the things that has concerned me is the mention in the instruction books I've scanned about what to do if the unit starts to over fire (they use some other term in the manuals but it seems to basically boil down to the unit turning into one big fueled flame). I do not want to even imagine this happening in my home. I am by no means an expert on kerosene heaters and my experience is limited to what I've researched and what others who own units have told me. I'd love to hear more from others on kerosene heaters because there is wide-spread interest. Personally, I'm fortunate to have two wood burning stoves and an ample woodlot, so I haven't needed to consider kerosene too seriously; but this isn't the case with many.
