Jim Hopkins - <OT> I finally got around to reading The Perfect Storm. It was a good recommendation by you. Enjoyed it a lot, if enjoy is the right word. I knew the ocean could be a dangerous place but never realized how much I underestimated it. Besides it being a great narrative of the Gloucester fishing guys, it was one heck of a good textbook. Side note 'cause I know you're a horse player, too: tried to recall where I'd heard the term longliner before, then recalled there was a filly at Santa Anita with that name a couple of years back. BTW, what was it about Melville that you didn't like? Ralph
