I agree and understand the move in many of the OSX stocks. As a recent purchaser of just a few, I'm encouraged by the move, premature or not. And like the Semi's, I hope the move anticipates better times ahead.

However, we all know not all companies are created equal. If the s*** hits the fan, as it may, then I'd like to be holding companies with a strong backbone.

Last I heard, the prior downcycle in Oil last nearly 5 years. By my count, we are one year into this one. As a Semi Holder from a few years back, I can testify to a 3-6mth rally (mid 97) which while satisfying, led only to further lows as the reality set in later. We have now come off those lows in that segment, and must ponder if this is yet another 'nice' rally setting up for yet another round, or a more secular shift.

BTW, been reading your post for some months now, and appreciate your insight.
