Saddle Up Boys - It's off to the Races again - Gulf States Cut Production...

Shane H; I believe RON will be one of the very top ''movers'' here. They are an absolute "top tier" service company; a ''must own'' in ANY serious Oilpatch portfolio - in my opinion fwiw. Solid company, well respected and will benefit very strongly by the momenteum move we may see again today off of the news on the Gulf States produciton cuts. Also the expectations of FURTHER OPEC CUTS is high... This sector moves on the ''expectations'' of crudes price enviroment turning more positive or negative. Certainly with the action seen in the E&P companies yesterday; the Street saw Crude dipping below $10 as THE bottom...

Not a bad day yesterday. I firmly believed that the longterm fundamentals for crude oil prices had not changed anywhere to the degree that prices warranted. These stocks were oversold due to tax loss selling and traders ''manipulation'' - read - en masse buying & selling & exiting... they have ''had their way'' with the oilpatch of late. The have taken candy from the babes here at will ! They run the sector up in unison; exit en masse; then short it into the ashes of oblivion & margin calls; then for no aparent fundamental reason - out of the blue; once again - en masse, buy & run it up... moral to the story here; Don't fight the tape... run with them. It's profitable to beat the crowd to the party and also beat the crowd to the exits here, by leaving a little early as well...

Longterm; no one is gong to go wrong buying and holding at these price levels. Traders - enter and exit early; try to take the middle 2/3rds of the moves... good luck.
