I agree whenever things get too easy danger is lurking just around the corner. That said I think the techs have a lot of legs left.

Ike,

Thank you for your response. I have to say, it's refreshing
to read something actually useful and insightful.

I 100% agree with you that option holdings deep in the money
from this runup should be rolled up to one strike out of
the money. This is exactly what I've done with Microsoft, Lucent,
and Nokia, all of which I've held. My Dell options have done
nothing, so I've left them alone for now. The excess cash is in
a money market waiting for a pullback to re-deploy as long term
stock holdings.

I'll be interested in your thoughts when the time comes to go
net short, as I've never never successfully capitalized
on a market retreat (I've always lost money on retreats).

Thank you again for your answers. Obviously spoken by a person
who has had much experience in properly taking profits, and
recreating portfolio as the conditions dictate.

I was surprised at the market strength. Seems will go higher if no further bad news from both domestic and oversea.
Computer and internet stocks will lead the market.
ONSL good buy.

IQ,

11800 on the S&P futures held today.. Do you consider
this a positive or was the drop from 1195.50 to 1173.25
to much. You mentioned that we would test 11800 a couple
of times this week. And today we were in that vicinity
a couple of times; was this enough? <gg>
