O.K. guys, no brawling at the special private Mistletoe party! Got it? THESE ARE THE RULES: NO BRAWLING AT THE MISTLETOE PARTY!!! You want to have a fight? Take it outside, mac,into the parking lot, where you can bruise each other silly while the rest of us are enjoying eggnog, wassail, etc. If I understand Cheeky Kid, this is where we let people know they have been interesting and enjoyable to know over the past year, a way of saying how much we have enjoyed the interactions, even the sparring and disagreements, the intellectual challenges, the moments of emotional support--both public and private. This is where we say thank you for being on the threads, even when--and especially when--we disagree. This is not the place for the insult thread to infest with its issues. So if you are not here to get kissed under the mistletoe, have a cup of wassail, and be enjoyed yourself for who you are--get lost!
