Just a basic observation as an eBay seller. It has become very difficult for buyers to search and place bids during the peak selling evening hours. Tonight the Q&A support board on eBay was jammed more than I've ever seen in almost 2 yrs. with sellers complaining and requesting 24hr auction extensions because buyers could not bid. Growing pains are becoming more and more evident. At some point in their growth cycle the confluence of increased advertising and staffing expenses combined with additional communications and computing investment and a frustrated user base will temporarily impact earnings and create negative investor attitudes.....the stock will then come back to earth for a while. The only question IMHO is when. Most remember AOL had similar problems.
