There was news about the .18 micron technology on Nov. 30 . I got it off a GateField thread.

Hi Calvin, MW, et al,

A previous post mentioned Potashner had only been on the job since last week, although the news releases lead me to believe it was a done deal the first part of last month. So much for relying on the news.

I agree Potashner must have had fore knowledge of the .18 micron news, although it would have to have been Holdt's baby since USC was just getting into .25 micron technology around the time of the first Savage release. I seem to recall someone else had announced an .18 chip for 1999. ATI?

At any rate, it's definitely good news, even though we probably won't see revenue from it until Q4 99. Sure would be interesting to see what book value would look like if USC went public.

Regards,

Don
