First the problems with the IBM network haven't been the Cisco products...rather if you investigate it you'll find that they are/have been struggling with CSCC 9000 problems. In fact it very well may be that IBM decided to replace the 9000's then realized the cost of doing so was high and therefore decided to simply sell the whole lot.

Second, patent suits by LU look like they will have weaker legs going forward.
