I agree with your observations. The benefit to FDX is not from the retail delivery side. While they will get some benefit here, UPS and USPS should get more - both are heavy into household service and have lower rates in this arena. FDX caters more to business and will focus on information services - this is the arena where they have the lead and where they will benefit most (IMO).
