TO: JOE COPIA RE: QCSC - IMPORTANT

QCSC -More news emphasizes IBM'S commitment. How long can this stock be this cheap?

BM appoints John Davison as Global Coordination Director for
QCS.net Corporation Retail E-Business Service

DECEMBER 8, 1998, MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA .... QCS.net
CORPORATION (OTCBB-QCSC), a strategic solutions partner with IBM
Corporation (NYSE-IBM), announced today that IBM has promoted John
Davison, IBM (UK) Ltd., to QCS.net Global Coordination Director. This is
a newly-created position responsible for supervising IBM's worldwide
delivery of the QCS.net service to the global retail market. IBM sells,
distributes, and provides end-user support for the QCS.net service,
which is positioned as a strategic procurement solution in the IBM
Supply Chain Solutions Portfolio.

In his new role Davison will be responsible for coordinating both the
internal and external activities of IBM in the sales, marketing,
deployment, operation, and support of the QCS.net service worldwide.

Davison, a four year veteran of IBM, most recently held the position of
Senior Supply Chain Lead Consultant where he led the implementation
of IBM's worldwide Supply Chain strategy with leading retail companies
in Europe. John was also involved in the introduction and implementation
of the QCS.net Web-based Domino service in the EMEA (Europe,
Middle East & Africa) region for IBM starting in late 1997. Davison was
instrumental in working with three of Europe's largest retailers, during
1998, as they made their decision to implement the QCS.net service
throughout their worldwide organizations in the coming months.

"John's extensive retail knowledge, combined with his experience
working with QCS.net and seeing first hand its value to the retail
community, makes him an excellent choice for leading IBM's global
efforts to market this unique e-business retail solution" said John F.
Wilson, IBM's Director, Global Supply Chain Solutions. "The QCS.net
service is gaining momentum in the global marketplace and we at IBM
needed to appoint the right person to lead the global co-ordination so
that we can deliver on the business demands of our international
customers."

"QCS.net Corporation welcomes the appointment of John Davison to
lead the coordination of IBM's QCS.net services", added John F.
Buckles, Vice President, Strategic Alliances, QCS.net Corporation. "His
appointment reaffirms IBM's global commitment to both the QCS.net
service as well as to the retail community at large. IBM recognizes that
the retail community is growing rapidly and that buyers and suppliers
worldwide are relying heavily on QCS.net to provide them the
competitive advantages of trading electronically via the Web."

Commented Davison: "I have been greatly encouraged by the call from
retailers and suppliers around the world for the creation of electronic
trading communities. Using the QCS.net service, firms are finding that
they can empower their employees and trading partners to build
symbiotic, win-win relationships by giving them access to a collaborative
environment based on real-time information. Industry analysts foresee
supply chain participants as being driven to become more collaborative
and more dynamic in their information exchange if they are to increase
their organizations' overall competitiveness. The QCS.net service
delivers this through it's capability of enriching buyer-supplier information
exchange beyond the limitations of traditional EDI and today's static
Web-based information exchange initiatives."

QCS.net Corporation (www.qcs.net) is a provider of electronic
collaboration solutions for the retail industry and its global trading
partners. QCS.net provides an Internet, browser-based workflow tool
which integrates electronic catalogs, requests for proposals, product
offers, negotiations, and full Internet EDI functionalities. IBM sells,
distributes, and provides end-user support for the QCS.net service,
which is positioned as a strategic procurement solution in the IBM
Supply Chain Solutions Portfolio. All customer service, help desks, and
training services are available through regional IBM/QCS.net Solution
Centers based in Cincinnati, Brussels, and Hong Kong.

Any statements in this announcement about future results are
preliminary and based on partial information and assumptions, and
actual results may differ. Except for historical information presented, the
matters discussed in this announcement contain forward-looking
statements that involve risks and uncertainties, including the
development and growth of markets targeted by QCS.net Corporation,
the acceptance of Electronic Collaborative Solutions by retailers and
vendors, the continuance of IBM as a business partner, subsequent
competition, general economic conditions in the U.S. and abroad, and
other risks detailed from time to time in the company's public disclosure
filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
