Good thinking, Dennis. Think like Gates. (Well, almost.) A win-win absorption?

I am beginning to think the real reason for the MX300 delay is the fact that Aureal is in imminent danger of losing the lawsuit filed by Creative. If you guys remember the shipping of the MX300 was supposed to be OCTOBER (gawd, talk about a delay! It's two weeks to Christmas). If Creative prevails in its suit, it will mean a second bankruptcy for the Mediavision old birds.

BTW Creative's Riva TNT board has garnered the Editor's Choice in the December PC Magazine!!! It was compared with a whole load of other boards and came up tops, with the fewest problems and an attractive price. The writer also noted the scams pulled by Diamond and Intel in their drivers, which were designed to fool benchmarking programmes into scoring them higher.
