Can't find anything else that would explain a 5% + rise. It must be Thursday's earnings. If there's a leak, tomorrow should tell with another upward day. Bill

You're right, DougHboy, CIEN and AFCI are in quite different business. However, forgive reminding you that DWDM is not just for long distance any more.

DWDM is getting into MAN (Metropolitan Area Networks) territory along with the growing competition and downing price. Not only RBOCs, but also cable companies and large enterprises will deploy DWDM before long.
