Just spoke with Chris at GGNC - he was a very likable and informative gentleman. I inquired about the Chinese site being up and running and he mentioned their GOAL was to have it up by 12-15-98, that's next week.

I also asked about coming up for a visit and tour. He graciously invited me up as soon as I was able. I will be touring on 12-15-98 because I am on the rode until then.

I remain VERY excited despit the hick-up the past couple hours.

They also need better tech support. I sent the following note a while back now, and I have yet to hear back from them. I have yet to get online. I don't consider myself a techno-newbie. If I'm having difficulties, there are others as well.

I sent this on November 29th, 1998.

Subject: Need help connecting

I am trying to 'connect' to your host so I can register and try your site out. What am I doing wrong?

Win '95.
I've downloaded your .exe file.
I've run it. It's in my accessories folder.
I start my IBM Global Network Dialer and dial into my IBM LAN here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
So, I'm dialed in and connected to my LAN. I can start Netscape and get access to the WWW for example. ie. I know the connection to my LAN is up and I can get access to the web.
I shut down all apps except my Dialer, which stays dialed into my LAN.
I then open your Cyberbetz Casino app.
The Cyberbetz window appears.
I click on 'connect'.
It prompts me with Userid and Password or Register Now.
I select Register Now.
A few seconds delay and then a window comes up saying 'Connecting to host ...'
Nothing happens. The window stays up. The message just sits there.

What am I doing wrong. Please advise asap.

I've done exactly what you've advised in your 'readme.txt' file...
1. You must first establish an Internet connection. Make sure that all your other Internet applications except your Internet connection are closed. This is very important. If any of these applications are open, close them before you continue this installation.

Call me if you'd like to help me by phone c: (204) xxx-xxxx.
