Dear Mighty Mizzou

1. Do you really think LU is stupid enough to buy something that a prime competitor knows everything about (Siemens)?

Based on that logic, very few mergers would take place within any industry.

2. Do you really see NN competing with LU, NT, ASND, CSCO, Siemens, etc. at the premier carrier level? How many vendors do carriers need?

NN competes head-to-head with Ascend at the carrier level right now and Cisco's a wannabe.

3. Do you see NN competing with CSCO effectively at the enterprise level? CSCO owns the enterprise and there are many, many, many competitors.

The enterprise space is changing rapidly and I don't see NN standing alone long term. There are many guns aimed at CSCO and NN would be a strong bullet in that arsenal.

4. With your boat loaded past the gunwhales, what do you plan to do if NN hits rough seas in the near future or do you see smooth sailing past the afore mentioned competition?

I've held NN through some rough seas already and have confidence my patience will be rewarded. Heck, it already has been. I'm in at 20.

Serious food for thought. I think you are investing with your heart instead of your head. My worthless advice is to spread the gunwhales amongst the top players in the networking sector. This is a GAURANTEED series of hits instead of a minimal chance of a grand slam with NN. Good luck!

At times I do invest with my heart but never without my head involved, too. And as for spreading my investments around, rest assured I do. I appreciate your concern, just the same.

Regards,

Pat
