We were quietly sipping our cappucino at a cafe just outside Newbridge, one eye on the newspaper and the other targeted at the Newbrige headquarters front door.. then it happened ...Terry Matthews threw two good contracts out the back door to a bunch of waiting technology reporters who fed on the news like a pack of sharks on raw meat... the two Lucent guys dressed in long dark overcoats, shades and wide brimmed hats darted through the front doors of Newbridge..once safely inside they changed their clothes to reveal that they were really "Global One" guys disguised as Lucent guys to throw us off their trail....Matthews quickly closed and locked the back door.. we could see through the smoked glass at the Newbridge entranceway the two Lucent but really Global guys who had slipped in the front door handing a parcel to Matthews...Mathews smiled and retreated back to his office....... to be continued
