<<Thomas Paine, Einstein, and multitudes of other great men other than Jefferson have stated they do not believe the bible to be truth. They do not buy the Jesus myth. Have you ever considered that those renown men may have searched and found enough evidence to lead to their decisions? >>

Einstein certainly believed in God. He was jewish and may not have accepted Jesus. But why do so many base their life decisions on what "great men" believed? Why not base it on a personal search for the truth on the issue of Jesus. You use the distorted writings of the Higher Criticism to refute but you have no personal evidence that God and Jesus don't exist except the fact that you have not met them. And that is no evidence. I have personal evidence that God and Jesus do exist. But that's what it is, personal. That's the way God wants it. He has given free will and if His existence was not deniable then their would be no choice for those who would otherwise choose not to seek Him. Where there is no choice there can be no free will.
