Nope, nothing is lost in "glass dust"...glass has to be milled, just like ore, if gold is to be recovered. Next time you are uptown/downtown, look up at that blackened office glass in all those skyscrapers and think gold...'cause that is whatc'yer looking at...

Seriously, tho'...
Today's "thinner gold" just requires more throughput of raw material to recover same standard of output. That is all. No different than grinding lower grade ore vs. high grading. Mining biz does it all the time.
