I already mentioned that when I said the K7 is on the Slot A EV6 bus. Seems like the K7 will need it if the backside L2 cache is also running at 200 MHz.

Meanwhile, I heard a rumor that the Katmai (or Coppermine?) core will be running on a 200 MHz bus sooner or later, so if that's the case, once again the K7 won't be featuring anything really different compared to the P6.
