DCF,

<<Define this: MAtt. 9: 13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.">>

Jesus is talking here about the fact that He has come to man the first time to save that which was lost without reference to judgement. He did not judge any sinner. He only judged the hypocrites, and this was because they declared their righteousness already. Jesus said to them in John 9:41, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, "We see"; your sin remains."

We should all try to love one another.

A saint is a true believer in Jesus Christ. There are pretenders, they are not saints, but tares. But we cannot judge that, God will judge that at the appropriate time.

It is a job to keep the right attitude with all this hollering back and forth! <ggg>

Bob

Dear Dan;

A well though out and useful post. I have been quiet of late because I am not as able as you to guard my mouth from anger. It disturbs me to see those claiming the Lord of Peace to attack brothers and sisters at their weakest moment. I confess once again that I have not always been Christian in my response to them. I continue to try to keep quiet when I am unsure of my ability to reprove in love. Thank you for being a reasoned voice and example to all that we can disagree without being disagreeable.

In Yeshua's love for you - DLL
