Yesterday's pop was due to a Wall Street Journal article in which GLM openly announced that it is seeking merger opportunities with any prospective oil company! Even if a company buys GLM they probably won't pay more than $ 15 a share - or they may buy it by paying 1/2 a share of their own stock or whatever suitable fraction. In such a purchase, if Wall Street doesn't like it, eventually GLM shares could tread down further! If GLM aggressively buys some other company and that purchase adds value to GLM then the stock could go much higher!
At $ 9 a share I think GLM is still too cheap!
