donald: The DJI pennants lower (support) ascending trend line, has been penetrated. If you adjust to what would be a supporting trend line for a flag it too has been violated. The DJI will have to continue further to the down side to confirm the break.

However, it seems the formation is resolving to the norm, so far! Completion to come with a drop below the inverted poll's top around the 8750 area.

Regards,
LG

Donald: If you print out the DJI Actual Intraday 15-Minutes Semi-Log Chart. Draw the upper ascending (resistance) trend line of the Bearish Pennant formation, drawn along the highs. Then starting at the inverted pole's top, (finally spelled that right) which is the low of 12/3, draw a parallel lower ascending trend line. You find that it gave support to the recent drop with only a slight violation.

The Bearish Pennant is now a Bearish Flag, for now...<g>

LG
