Sig, you teaching'em how do it! A lot of little gains are much better then trying to be hero. How about that MSPG, say your going increase outstanding by +8% and have your stock go up 4 points, never in my life have I seen that.

Too bad DELL is stuck in the mud till next year. About 5 months more of this unless they take number one from CPQ and show some real gains in China, they are not even on the map yet in China. Here's a sobering thought concerning the spread of the internet world wide; Only half of the world population have made a phone call! There is a lot of work to do to make the internet truly a WORLD WIDE WEB.

My point here is that it is not nescessary to buy a whole raft of the same ones, the same expirations,or even in the same company to make money

I find I must give up anwhere from $30 to $80 per trade in commissions when selling options and that is often a large percent of the trade. It seems that dealing with more contracts at the same transaction increases the % gain by quite a bit.

Thanks Sig.
Do you have any particular target in mind when you buy these? Any reason that you chose a certain stock to use options of (not counting DELL of course)?
I think maybe I hold some of mine too long: not sure its wise to let a gain become a loss in options any more than it is in stocks (except for DELL of course).

Sig,

Interesting strategy. Many of your picks seem to have been a bit out of the money at the time of purchase. After you decide to buy options on a particular stock, how do you decide at what strike and at what expiration date? (If you don't mind answering, that is)
