Hans!
If you have two different scales that means normally that you also have two indicators in that window. Click on the indicator whose scale is plotted on the right side(you preferred side) and then type in the value. I hope that will do what you want.

Hans,

Right-click on the horizontal line and choose "Scaling" from the shortcut menu.

You'll get a dialog with probably two options, the name of your security, which is probably on the right scale, and the name of your indicator, which is probably on the left scale. Choose the item on the right scale.

Now, before you do anything to redraw the chart, right-click on the horizontal line and enter the y-axis value which you want to set the line at (When you switched the scaling in the previous step, MS didn't set the horizontal line value for the new scale, it kept the old value, so that now if you redraw, the line will jump to another position).

If anybody wants to ask an ex-Equis programmer a question about MetaStock, or any other Equis app, go to the MetaStock Q&A at debry.com.
