Jason - if you followed commodities as closely as I do, you would understand my willingness to use the expression "a whole move based on nothing."

An example - silver going to about $7.00 on news that "the great" Warren Buffett had removed 1/5 of this year's production from the market.

Guess what ? It's back to $4.80. Silver should not do well during the fastest decline in commodity prices in about 20 years.

Jon.

MM - **OT** - It's never nothing.

On the contrary - it's often nothing. Many experiments have been done with a small group of people and fake stocks with a known price at the end but no information added in the middle. The 'stocks' move in a very similar way to the real stock market (i.e. with lots of random motion and in fact they often peak higher than their final known-in-advance value).

mm -

Poor little QCOM all alone out there in the $50s away from its natural home in the $40s. Never mind, soon be home and all will be well again.

Naughty QCOM, see what happens when you go wandering off into the land of the big boys. Now you be a good little QCOM and come on home!!!

Regards,

L
