re. the best CPU AMD has the best CPU , Intel has the best L2 cache . When AMD beats their cache size (K6-3) , then AMD will have the best CPU and Cache . The real interesting part of this whole discussion though is we are talking about the products of two very dissimilar companies . Why very dissimilar ? Because one is valued by the market at $200 B and the other at less than $5B , where else could you buy the stock of such a strong contender for the most profitable business in an industry at such a cheap price ?
