What are you talking about? I have never heard of a teacher admitting to being an atheist, or saying that God does not exist! It never happened once in my schooling, my husband's, or my son's. Do you mean that if evolution is taught, it is the same as saying God does not exist? I can't believe you are resting your argument for the existence of God on evolution being false. What a fragile foundation you've chosen. With friends like you, the theists don't need enemies!

Heavens, even the Pope is coming around to the notion that maybe God worked his magic through evolution.

You are certainly wrong, I have never said or felt of you anything like "Christian, shut up. I don't like your views and don't think you should have the right to express them!"

The opposite is true, I have often solicited your views, and been disappointed at your choice to not provide them. You often reply unresponsively, you know.

I am not bitter, Bob. But about Christians and their virtues, I am cynical. Perhaps you confuse a skeptical eye for a bitter one.

Excuse me! Bob! For a reasonable man, you are showing some very strange beliefs and prejudices!! You sound like the one who has had some abnormal experiences that have left you with some pathological reactions. What kind of atheistic indoctrination have you or your children experienced in the schools (unless you refer to the theory of evolution which, at least to my sons, was presented as just that-a theory, along with a brief mention of Creationism). They are most certainly NOT told that GOd does not exist! Here in Texas-a bastion of the Christian faith- we have had the opposite problem with teachers who feel it appropriate to question how my child can get through a day not believing in Jesus. What an incredible statement. First you say that homosexuals are disturbed , now that the schools are plotting against you.

The Christians-like the white male- have had the power for a long time and are having problems relinquishing their dominance.
(Oh my, did I say that! James B will probably destroy me now.)
