messages.yahoo.com @m2.yahoo.com A good post by Wildhorses. I agree with all that. But in Techniclone's case, there isn't a need for secrecy assuming they have good patent protection. Their interests would be better served by widely informing people about TCLN and developments. This would pre-sell, soften people up, give marketing exposure, so that when products are ready, oncologists and patients are ready to buy. There might be pent up demand as people choose to wait for this better treatment than go with something which might interfere with the TNT or Oncolym options. Vaporware in the software industry serves this purpose - using the threat of a not yet ready product to prevent competitors bothering with the same field and to get people ready for it. TCLN needs to maintain shareholder value too, so that future capital raising doesn't dilute existing shareholders excessively. Ignorance breeds lower prices because investors need a risk premium on the price.cnn.com An item about the new FDA boss and how science will be sacrosanct which presumably means a monolithic approach to research and sacrifice of those with short life spans who cannot wait for scientists to lumber into view to dot the 'i's and cross the 't's. No opportunity in her world view for individuals. Which will probably mean a smaller range of diseases treated. Many diseases will simply be uneconomic so the victims must die untreated. You'd think they could at least be free to attempt what measures they could to sustain their lives, with government protection against fraud = if somebody sold them a bill of goods involving lies or other fraud, then the supplier could be prosecuted. Maurice PS: Victor, I've already covered your points so don't want to rehash it. If you choose not to see my logic, then that's up to you. Shareholders aren't feeling their pain magnified 7 times as it is a matter of percentages, orders of magnitude or whatever you like. Adding zeroes doesn't affect it. Measuring the length of something in inches, centimetres or Angstroms doesn't change it's length.
