I'd do an option straddle and play the July volatility... even given all the arguments surrounding how to correctly measure volatility, end of the world as we know it has got to rank.

P.s. It's interesting that a stock can have a high Beta and low volatility and another can have a low Beta and high volatility. AMAT's gotta be the best of both worlds.

Sell all your Y2K stocks and buy brimstone futures and air conditioning companies.
Invest in the markets of non-Christian countries, particularly Asia. I'd avoid the Middle East, though.
