James, I know this the WAVO thread, but I have a question for you. What is your opinion on WAVC: Waverider? Wireless Internet capability. TIA :-)

Hi JJC,

I've seen a few posts saying you will not be guest-hosting on CNBC anymore. I assume that is false. Can you comment on it?

I think CNBC knows what drives their ratings. Good insight from guests such as yourself and sexy stories. You don't see them interviewing boring economists and CEO's of utility companies too often.

Hey Jim, aren't these the same people that used to bet well bred first-time-starters down to 3/5 and then complain about stiffing when they finished up the track?

Seems they've moved their tack to Wall Street and taken their betting habits with them ;}.

James J. Cramer: I am hanging out here because I genuinely like to talk about stocks. When Motley Fool started I used to go there everyday.

Yeah right, that is why you have not answered a single post to you regarding stocks?

Regards,
LG

Hi James, just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed and learned a lot with my subscription to thestreet.com. You and your team bring a humorous and witty style to business journalism.

I do differ with you in one respect to one comment you made.
<<When a stock doubles overnight, the first thing I do is presume there could be a short squeeze going on. I think that because in my lifetime, I have not seen that many stocks double in a day or two, except when they have been squeezed up.>>

I think that in the internet age -- there are a lot of stocks that have the potential to double and more within a short time because of the exponential growth anticipated in e-commerce. However, ultimately, earnings and profits will be the deciding factor in how successful a stock eventually becomes.

But just to put my money where my mouth is and give you an example of a stock that I believe will more than double (and not because of a short squeeze) -- keep your eye on TSIG (Teleservices International Group).

TSIG (Teleservices International Group) is making an attempt to
compete with the likes of CDNW, KTEL, and AMZN using a unique and
profitable business model.

TSIG was also mentioned in a thestreet.com article on 17 Nov 98 by
staff reporter Greg Wirth as an up and coming competitor with the
major music websites:

"Meanwhile, others had moved onto other would-be Davids hoping to
topple Web Goliaths with their music Web sites: TeleServices
International Group (TSIG:OTC BB), operator of the Compact Connection..."

Anyways, a lot more to tell, but please keep an eye on this stock.

Regards,

Phil

How come, with all this controversy with WAVO, haven't any of the similar services been mentioned? Why don't you discuss or do a comparison of the various news service products, such as between WAVO, Broadcast.com, NEWZ, cnbc, CNET, etc? NEWZ, especially, with its association with Netscape (NetCenter) and AOL. This would be a better service than the sparring and spitting that is going on here.
